TRAX Magazine and American Record Pool = the early years

American Record Pool, one of the nation's largest DJ organizations, was founded in 1981 and began publishing TRAX magazine in 1985. Together with many professionals throughout the recording industry, we helped usher in new wave, house, hip-hop, rap, and even a resurgence of disco.
